HDFC Moneyback credit card, as the name suggests, is a card that helps you get your money back in the form of reward points on every small spend you make. As a welcome and renewal benefit, you get 500 Cash points every year on payment of the joining/renewal fee. Besides that, you can also get the renewal fee waived on the basis of your annual spends. This card provides you with 4 Reward Points on every Rs. 150 spent online, and 2 Reward Points on every Rs 150 spent on other categories.

Reward Points

  • You get 2 Reward Points on every Rs 150/-  spent.
  • You get 4 Reward Points on every Rs 150 spent online. Under this category, you can earn up to 500 reward points per statement cycle using your credit card.
  • You don’t earn any reward points on fuel transactions, gift vouchers, prepaid cards and wallet reloads.
  • The reward points you earn using this card are valid for 2 years from the accumulation date.

How To Redeem Your Reward Points?

  • The Reward Points accumulated on your HDFC MoneyBack credit card can be redeemed for cash. You can redeem these points against your statement balance where 1 Reward Point = Rs 0.20. You must have minimum 2500 reward points to redeem against statement balance and the maximum capping is 50000 RPs per month.
  • You can redeem your Reward Points to avail travel benefits on flight and hotel booking at the SmartBuy reward portal where value of 1 Reward Point = Rs 0.25. This redemption can only be made up to 50% of the booking value using your reward points and the remaining amount must be paid through your credit card. Reward redemption is capped at 50,000 per month against flight/hotel bookings.
  • You can redeem reward points against vouchers and products, where 1 Reward Point = Rs. 0.25, up to 70% of the total value and the rest of the amount must be paid with your credit card.

Milestone Benefits

You get a gift voucher worth Rs 500 on spending Rs 50,000 in a calendar quarter. You can earn gift vouchers worth up to 2,000 in a year using this card.

Joining Fee & Renewal Fee Waiver

On spending Rs 50,000 or above in the card anniversary year, you get a renewal fee waived on your HDFC MoneyBack credit card.

Fuel Surcharge Waiver

You get a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on all your fuel transactions using this credit card at all petrol pumps across India. This benefit can be availed on a minimum transaction of Rs 400. You can get a maximum cashback of Rs 250 on your fuel transactions.
